The Cyber Science Lab (CSL), a non-profit research facility, operates within the Canada Cyber Foundry (CCF) at the School of Computer Science, University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. Its primary focus is on the innovative field of autonomous cybersecurity. This area involves creating systems that independently manage tasks usually performed by human cyber defenders. These tasks include safeguarding networks, identifying malicious activities, and responding to cyber threats.

These advanced systems are engineered to function at the speeds necessary to mitigate digital attacks, often surpassing human capabilities. CSL’s broader objectives encompass the development of self-learning and self-repairing systems.
